RapStation Privacy Policy
Effective Date
July 28, 2026
About This Policy
RapStation is a radio and media app. You do not create or sign in to an account inside the app. This policy explains the information used when you listen, view media, interact with posts, choose to send a message, or enable notifications.
Radio and Media Services
RapStation connects to internet radio streams, the public Rap TWITTA media feed, RapStation-hosted media, and service providers such as Firebase. Those services may receive ordinary technical information needed to answer a request, such as your IP address, request time, device or app details, and service logs. Their handling of that information is governed by their own practices.
Public Media, Likes, and Comments
The Media tab displays a public Rap TWITTA feed and RapStation-hosted posts. When likes or comments are available, RapStation may create a random viewer identifier on your device so the service can recognize that device's interaction without requiring an account. A comment you choose to submit may be visible publicly with the post. Do not include private information in a public comment.
Camera, Microphone, and Photos
RapStation asks for camera, microphone, or photo access only when a feature needs it and only after you choose to use that feature. Audio or video recordings remain on your device while you prepare them. Photos or videos you select are processed for the action you requested. You can deny or later change these permissions in iPhone Settings.
Messages to RapStation
When you choose to send an audio or video message, RapStation opens Apple Messages addressed to +1 702-812-1785 and attaches the content you selected or recorded. You review and send the message yourself. After it is sent, Apple, your carrier, and the recipient may process or retain the message and attachment. RapStation cannot control or delete copies held by those parties.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging may process a device notification token so RapStation can deliver general notifications. The app may subscribe that token to the all-users notification topic. You can turn notifications off at any time in iPhone Settings.
Sale and Tracking
RapStation is not designed to sell personal information. The app does not use Apple's advertising identifier or request permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising.
Storage and Retention
App preferences and a random interaction identifier may remain on your device until you remove the app or clear the related data. Recordings remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Public comments, media interactions, messages, and service logs may be retained by the relevant service or recipient for as long as needed to operate the feature, address safety or legal needs, or follow that party's retention practices.
Security
RapStation uses the security protections provided by iOS and its service providers. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so avoid sending sensitive information through public comments or listener messages.
Children’s Privacy
RapStation is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through RapStation, contact us so the situation can be reviewed.
Your Choices
You may decline camera, microphone, photo, and notification permissions. Some related features will not work without the permission they require. You control whether to send a message or submit a public comment, and you can stop using the app at any time.
Policy Changes
This policy may be updated when RapStation's features or service providers change. The effective date shown above will be updated when material changes are made.
